After you have added the variable data blocks to the PDF template files, the next step is to create and configure products on the Designer server. The video below illustrates the following steps:
Products are created within your Designer Admin account. Once a product has been created you can then add the necessary Template(s) to it.
The Science Designer offers special functions for the case where the document is double-sided. You can upload a number of templates that are available for the front-side of the document and a number of templates that are available for the back-side of the document. Your customer can then easily switch between the different templates for the front-side and the different templates for the back side.

In order to configure a product that offers independent selection of front-side and back-side templates, you will configure 2 distinct products. The first product contains the templates for the front-side selector and the second product contains the products for the back-side selector. The final steps are to link the 2 products together. While editing the front-side product, select the checkbox indicating that this product is a double-sided product. Then select the product containing the back-side templates from the dropdown selector.
