When you receive a package destined for a customer, you can use the inbound shipment tracking function to record the barcodes and take photos of the packages using a phone or iPad. The system automatically sends notifications to the customer by email and SMS. The notifications include links to view the photos of the packages so that the customer knows exactly what it is you have received.
The system also allows you to track which inbounds shipments have been collected and which have not. For any shipment that has not yet been collected, you can easily re-send the notifcations to the customer that you are holding a shipment you received on their behalf.
