For certain products, you may want to offer your customers the option to purchase certain accessories or add-ons. One way to make these accessories available would be to create an attribute for each accessory. A more convenient way is to use the Add-on product feature of wp2print.
With wp2print, you first create the accessories as "simple" products. Next, in the 'Add-on products" tab of the product configuration page for the main product, you can select the accessories you want displayed in the product page for the main product
In the example below, the Outdoor Banner is the main product. There are 2 add-on products also displayed in the price calculator. The default value for the add-on product quantity is always 0. The customer can then add whatever quantity of the accessories he chooses:
After the customer adds the main product to the cart, the add-on products appear as additional line items in the cart:
Add-on products should be created as ordinary products with type "simple". The price of the add-on product is controlled via the "Regular price" or "Sale price" field:
To configure the set of accessories or add-on products you would like displayed inside any "main" product, edit the "main " product. Navigate to the 'Add-on products" tab of the product configuration page for the main product. You can select the accessories or add-ons you want displayed in the product page for the main product:
