wp2print allows you to configure important limitations and adjustments to the price displayed to the customer
For each product you have configured, wp2print allows you to configure a minimum and maximum price.
The minimum price allows you to prevent the system from accepting extremely small orders. If the customer enters a very small quantity and the price calculated by the system is below the minimum, then the system will display the minimum price instead.
The maximum price allows you to prevent the system from offering a price quote for very large jobs. When the customer enters a quantity so large that the price exceeds the maximum allowed, the system displays a pop-up window explaining to the customer that the order cannot be processed through the website. The system prevents the customer from seeing a price or adding the product to the cart.
The minimum and maximum price are configured in the "Prices" tab:
The text displayed in the pop-up window when the Maximum price limit is exceeded can be configured in the Options tab of the wp2print Settings page:
For certain products you may want to offer the customer a choice of how fast they want the product produced and, in the case where the customer requires very fast production, you want to increase the price for the product.
wp2print offers a "Production Speed Multiplier" that will perform these actions for the product:
In the example below, you can see the price and date shown to the customer in the product page for 2 different selections for 'Production speed'. Note that the price for 'Next day' is 50% higher than the price calculated for production speed 'Slow'. Note also that the 'Ship date' for 'Next day' is 3 days earlier than the 'Ship date' for 'Slow':
The production speed multiplier is configured within the Price tab for the product.
You can add as many different production speeds as you would like for the product. In the product page, the various production speeds will be displayed in a dropdown to the customer. You can customize the text label of the dropdown.
For each item in the production speed list, you can configure the percentage the price will increase when the user selects that particular production speed. If you configure a value of 50%, then the price displayed for the product calculated using all the other attributes will be increased by 50%.
For each item in the production speed list, you can configure the number of days you require to manufacture and ship the product. You will configure the number of days in the future, counting from today, that you promise as a 'Ship date' for the product. For 'Same day", you would use a value of 0, for 'Next day' you would use a value of 1. You can also configure a 'Cut-off' time that is used for the 'Ship date' calculation. If the order is received after the time, an additional day is added to the 'Ship date' calculation.
With wp2print, you can choose to hide the display of prices to users that are not yet logged in. Instead of displaying prices in the price calculator, wp2print will display a prompt asking user to login in order to see prices as shown below. Note that not only are prices not displayed but buttons such as "Add to Cart", "Design Online" and "Upload your artwork" are also hidden:
In order to activate this feature, navigate to the "Prices" tab and check the checkbox labeled "Hide prices for users that are not logged-in":
You can modify the text of the prompt shown to users by navigating to the "Prices" tab in the wp2print Settings and adjusting the field "Invitation to prompt login":
