Creating users in a Multistore system is very similar to creating products. You can create users both in the master site and then add them to slave sites, or you can directly create new user accounts in each slave site.
All users, whether they are created within the master site or its slave sites, will all appear in the "Users" list on the master site, but will have independent privileges depending on the site.
Here we will show you how to create a new user on the master site, and then copy it to a slave site.
Firstly, navigate to the master site and hover over "Users" then click on "Add new":
Provide a username and an email.
Next, simply click on "Add User" and the user will be added to the users list. On the master site, you're able to edit the user so as to modify password or role if needed.
To add this user to a slave site, navigate to the slave site, hover over "Users" in the left menu, then click "Add New". You will see 2 ways to add a new user to the slave site:
In the "Add Existing User" area at the top of the page, fill in the textbox with the email or username of a user, assign it a role on the slave site then click the button "Add Existing User". The user you have created on the master site level will now be added to the slave site.
In the "Add New User" area at the bottom of the page, fill in the new user's email or username, select the role for the user in the salve site then click the button "Add User".
